Happy Prime Day, friends!
I just created a section in my LTK shop that I am keeping updated with my picks for this year’s Prime Day, but thought I would create a blog post with a tiny bit more detail about each product I’m sharing (and link to more in-depth posts for a few of the items)!
I’m only sharing items that we already own and love so I can vouch for their quality and value (and hopefully save you some coin)! This roundup of sale items looks pretty similar to the Prime Day deals that I shared back in July, so if you missed out on a discounted purchase a few months ago, you have a second opportunity to snag these great items at lower prices.
*Top Tip: I know it may seem early, but this is also an EXCELLENT opportunity to start shopping for holiday gifts (the holiday season always sneaks up on me)!
This seems to be this year’s big ticket item for the Prime Day sale, and it makes sense! We have three of the 65″ inch size (one in our bedroom, one in the living room and one in the playroom) and I can’t say enough good things about these devices. We love them! 1,000,000% worth the price!
If you’re interested in taking your purchase a step further, depending on your home decor, this company makes amazing accessories to make your tv look even more like art by adding a more traditional looking frame to the edge of your tv which makes it blend even more seamlessly into your decor!
*Please note that these accessories are not included in the Prime Day Sale, but I wanted to share them with you anyway. 😂
We have been big fans of Peloton since 2020 — we took the plunge and bought one while under quarantine and have never looked back. I absolutely love our Bike+ and would recommend it to anyone (even more of a deal if you get $300 off!!). You can read more about our [honest] experiences with Peloton here.
Handy for people who want a low-profile printer / scanner at home. Since I like to print out coloring pages and other crafts for Sophie and my husband works exclusively from home now, it’s really convenient to have our own printer. It’s not the most heavy-duty, but it gets the job done. Super easy to use and we appreciate how it’s not a HUGE machine because we don’t want or need that much processing power for how little we use it. I wrote a more in-depth review here, if you’re interested.
When I tell you this is used daily, it is no exaggeration. I use the cam to monitor Sophie during her afternoon nap and overnight. We used to use the sock monitor when Sophie was a baby after we transitioned her to her crib so that we could keep an eye on her heartbeat and oxygen levels even while we slept. It gave us such peace of mind! Now that Sophie is a toddler we don’t use the sock nearly as much, but we definitely employ it when she is sick and we want to keep tabs on her vitals. I can’t recommend this set enough — add it to your registry or gift it to some new parents.
We are big fans of Dyson products in our house — this cordless vacuum has been a gamechanger for us. If you’ve been here for a while, you know we used to have the Dyson upright vacuum and we loved it for just about ten years! But now we have a lot more house (with a lot more stairs) so it just wasn’t the best option for our current lifestyle. I especially love that I can easily carry this cordless model up and down the stairs and that we don’t need a separate hand vac for smaller jobs — just swap out the attachment!
Admittedly, I haven’t needed to use this tool quite yet (🤞🏼), but I’m so happy to have it in my home cleaning arsenal! So many of my friends swear by it so of course I had to grab one for myself. If you’re interested in a tool to help you clean fabric or upholstery (read: pet and toddler parents), this little fella is the device for you!
Having an air purifier for our home to eliminate wildfire smoke is a no-brainer these days since we’ve been battling brutal forest fires on the West Coast over the past ~five years (and, unfortunately, I don’t see that improving any time soon). We use this one in Sophie’s bedroom and then move it to the playroom during the day which gives us so much peace of mind when we’re stuck inside.
I don’t know how I lived without this product before — it’s been so helpful at getting food stains out of Sophie’s clothes (during meals she loves to wipe off her dirty hands onto the shoulders of her tops ). This is my secret weapon for getting those tough stains out (like berry juices!). I usually keep one or two of the little stain removing wipes in my bag for on-the-go emergencies, but use the spray every.day. at home. Now that they sell larger spray bottles and refills I’ll definitely be switching once these smaller bottles are empty.
We use our Vitamix for so many uses — smoothies and protein shakes, frozen cocktails, making spreads and even soups! It’s an absolute workhorse in our kitchen and worth every penny.
A daily use product for us — whether it’s cooking frozen food, toasting breads, reheating leftover pizza, roasting veggies, the toaster oven is probably our most-used kitchen [countertop] appliance. Breville makes such high quality machines and we have truly loved ours. It’s also great to use in the summer months because you don’t need to heat up your whole house by cooking with your full oven.
We bought our set from Williams-Sonoma almost ten years ago. They’ve been our trusty knives for a decade and we love them! The perfect variety of knives — they’re a staple in our kitchen! Wüsthof is known for their high quality and you won’t be disappointed.
I use these reusable silicone bags for almost everything. I rarely reach for the disposable options anymore because they’re so convenient! They’re especially perfect for taking snacks on the go for Sophie and I love all of the size options (only a few of ours are pictured because the rest are in use throughout the house!).
BEAUTY / PERSONAL CARE
My holy trinity of haircare. My husband even uses the shampoo and conditioner and we both love them! The No.3 treatment has completely rejuvenated my damaged hair! I can’t recommend it enough. I wrote a full blog post about it here if you want more details.
I JUST bought this hair removal device and can’t wait to use it! My ingrown hairs have really gotten out of control lately so I hope this minimizes that issue. I’ve heard such great things from Liz Joy of @purejoyhome and hope to have the same amazing results! I’ll keep you posted on my journey, but I had to share in case you wanted to try it out before I get my full review up!
I only recently switched from the classic Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo to their Advanced Clean product and OMG it is magic! It’s even more effective than the original and leaves less residue on my hair (perfect for my brunette roots!).
Not the most glamorous of purchases, but we love our Philips Sonicare toothbrush (and our dentist agrees! 😉) — even our travel versions are included in the discount!
ITEMS IN MY CART
We have been very happy with our Levoit air purifier, but Sophie’s bedroom gets quite warm in the summer months even while running the air conditioner. Since that also happens to be peak fire season, having a 2-in-1 device for her room would be ideal for keeping her safe and comfortable.
This device seems to be the best option for hardwood floors and I am very keen to get one of these cleaners because we have hardwoods throughout our house! “Self-propelled and time-saving, the Floor One S3 vacuums and washes your sealed hard floors in one smart step for an optimal clean in less time.” Say less.
I hope that you’re able to save some money on purchases of things you’ve already been eyeing!
Happy saving, friends!
Sending hugs —
