By now I’m sure you’ve heard that it’s time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The brand offers this type of sale twice a year (the second one in the fall ahead of the holidays) and they reward their Nordstrom credit cardholders with early access to the event starting today, July 9th. Everyone else can shop starting at 9:01pm PT on July 14 / 12:01am ET on July 15 and the sale comes to an end at 11:59pm PT on July 31/2:59am ET on August 1.
The sale can be a bit of a mad dash because popular items do sell out quickly so I recommend filling your cart and setting an alarm if you really want to secure anything. I typically like to use these sale opportunities to stock up on basics, items that I already love and want to replenish, or to grab classic, more long-term investment-type items at a discounted price so those are the product picks I’ll be sharing today.
Let’s go shopping!

Clothing
Absolutely stocking up on favorites and investment pieces in this category.
True & Co. bralette
This v-neck cut is my favorite because it works under most of my wardrobe!
Spanx Perfect Pant // Faux Leather Leggings
I think that this “ponte pant” style is so classy and easy to wear for multiple use cases. Absolutely perfect choice for work, but also great paired with a sexy top and heels for date night or with a cute blouse and flats for drinks with the girls. And their faux leather leggings have a cult following for a reason! I absolutely love mine and they’ve lasted me for years.
High Waisted Skinny Jeans
I’d love to try a pair of Joe’s jeans and this pair looks like a great core basic to try out. I love the wash and high waist!
Cropped Peacoat
I adore a peacoat and this cut is so chic and has such a feminine twist. I own a very similar one that I bought from Abercrombie years ago (maybe even senior year of high school?) and every time I wear it I get questions about where I got it… this is the best I’ve found!
Pastel Plaid Teddy Jacket
I personally enjoy incorporating lighter shades into my wardrobe for those colder months because everything feels so heavy and dark for so long (especially those of you in the midwest / northeast… your winters seems to last for an eternity!). It’s nice to have something to mix it up and lighten up your look. I love this neutral-toned plaid jacket that would be easy to pair with jeans, corduroy pants, sweatpants or leggings… so cute! The cut and print make it feel a bit too casual to wear with a dress, but with the right piece you could make it work!

Accessories
I own a few of these pieces and wear them every day, and some pieces I am eyeing for myself or as gifts!
CZ Stud Earrings Set // Stud Earrings
I own the 6 carat cubic zirconia earrings and wear them every day. They’re classic and large enough to be visible on your ear without being gaudy. I also love the other CZ set because you can switch up the size, depending on how you’re wearing your hair or how much (or little!) of a statement you want to make.
Dainty Diamond Necklace
I have a necklace exactly like this that I absolutely adore. I also wear this daily and I think it’s such a classic piece that goes with every outfit.
CZ Pendant Necklace
Another option that’s very similar to the previous necklace, but has even more opportunity for sparkle as it doesn’t have the bezel setting.
Longchamp Tote // Leather Tote
Longchamp is a heritage brand for a reason! The nylon is so durable and I love that it can fold up into itself which makes it ultra packable! This nylon version is even more amazing because it’s expandable which makes it an even better option for travel, but I’d use this one as my “personal item” on the plane (bringing as much with me as possible — haha). The all leather option is so lovely and such a classic tote. If I didn’t already have a leather tote getting daily use I would absolutely grab this one.
Steve Madden mules
I’m crazy about the chunky chain detail in matching colors so that it’s more subtle and I love the bone leather, sand suede, and black leather options! I can’t decide which one would work best with my wardrobe, but I’m a big mule fan so any color would be an excellent addition.

Beauty
SOOO many goodies in this section that I had to break them down into categories!
HAIR
Olaplex Set
If you’ve been here for a while you know how I feel about Olaplex products (read previous posts here, here and here), but this snagging set is a no-brainer! Absolutely love these items.
T3 AireLuxe Hairdryer
This is a new-to-me model so I can’t speak directly to it, but I have used multiple T3 products in the past (and still love their Curling Trio Tool!) and have never been disappointed so if you’re in the market for a new hairdryer, this is a great option!
Slip Silk Scrunchies // Slip Silk Discovery Set
I absolutely love all of my Slip Silk products. I always use the skinny scrunchies overnight, the sleep mask on long flights (… well, I did before Sophie arrived 😜), and have been lusting over a silk pillowcase for years now… maybe it’s finally time to make the upgrade!
AQUIS Hair Turban
I swear by this turban for gently absorbing excess water from my hair after every shower. Regular towel fibers can be too harsh on your hair and this turban helps prevent that damage, no matter how I am styling my hair (either brushed out for straightening or when “plopping” when embracing my natural curl type). Absolutely worth grabbing!

SKIN
Sunday Riley Set
I just started using the Good Genes product and I really love the effect that it has on my skin. It feels softer, plumper and any dark spots seem to fade, leaving my face feeling brighter. I’m really enjoying using it so far.
Augustinus Bader Cream Set
Such a luxurious moisturizer! I splurged and bought myself a small tube to see what the fuss was about and I get it now. Definitely recommend!
Supergoop Sunscreen
An absolute favorite in our house. I love how easily it absorbs into my skin and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky (ugh, such a gross feeling!). A great product for summer fun!
Kiehl’s Hand Salve
My husband SWEARS.BY.THIS.PRODUCT. He has super dry cracked skin on his hands and this is the only non-greasy hand lotion that he has ever found to be effective for his needs (and trust me, he’s tried EVERYTHING). If you have ultra dry hands, I can’t recommend this product more.

BEAUTY
NARS Blush Set // Blush Duo
Hands-down my absolute favorite powder blush. I didn’t know it came in a cream stick! I may need to add this to my cart!
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Kit
You can never go wrong with Charlotte Tilbury, especially the Pillow Talk line of products. The perfect neutral hint of color and this kit would be a great bundle to grab.
Bobbi Brown Lip Duo
I absolutely adore this crushed oil gloss and use it daily; I can’t speak to the lipstick, but knowing how much I love other Bobbi Brown products I’m sure it’s awesome and worth giving a try as part of this lip duo.
Chloé travel fragrance // Chloé All Sizes Set
This is my favorite travel fragrance! I wear Chanel Mademoiselle as my daily signature fragrance, but they don’t offer a thin travel tube (there’s a reusable spray option but it’s a decent size and when you’re traveling you want things to be as small as possible). This Chloé scent is my second favorite and a go-to for a light, floral scent.

Home
Yes, there are a lot of blankets included in this section, but I just wanted to illustrate that there are other options aside from the fan-favorite Barefoot Dreams!
Barefoot Dreams Solid Throw // Floral Print Throw
It wouldn’t be the Nordstrom Sale without Barefoot Dreams products! I feel like the two have become synonymous at this point. 😂 And they’re a cult favorite for a reason! They material is so incredibly soft, they’re perfect for snuggling under. I personally prefer both the solid and the floral print options!
Giraffe at Home Throw
I have a baby blanket for Sophie by this same brand and it’s so buttery soft that I often “borrow” it from her. I love the satin edge that seems to elevate the product a bit and I personally think that it’s a worthy adversary for the Barefoot Dreams blankets.
UGG Plush Throw
In the same category, I looove a thick, plush blanket, especially when the temperatures drop. This UGG blanket stands on its own because it’s definitely more heavy-duty than the other options I’ve mentioned so if you want the ultra-soft feel, but tend to get cold easily, this may be a better alternative for you!
Diptyque candles
I’m a Diptyque candle fiend; I actually just had an order arrive earlier this week with a limited edition summer scent that I have been dying to try. This little set is perfect for trying new scents on your own home or would make an excellent present (thinking as a stocking stuffer for the holidays or even as a housewarming gift)! These WILL go quickly; don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Vitamix Blender
I am absolutely obsessed with our Vitamix. It’s the pinnacle of blending, whether it’s for smoothies, soups, sauces, frozen cocktails, and everything in between. Being able to buy one at a discount with these extras is such a great deal!
Linen & Cotton Apron
I have been thinking about getting an apron recently as I have started spending a bit more time in the kitchen and there is nothing I hate worse than having extra laundry to do AFTER a session of cooking and cleaning the dishes / kitchen (so exhausting!). This one looks so light and lovely that I couldn’t help but add it to my cart!

Baby
I’ll admit that not a lot caught my eye in this section, but I would be remiss if I didn’t share these deals on baby gear that we love!
UppaBaby Stroller
We absolutely love our UppaBaby stroller. We have the Cruz, but should have gotten the Vista as it has configurable options for two kiddos and we plan to have another baby so this is an excellent product to grab as a discounted price.
Stokke Highchair
We use our Stokke highchair every day. I love it because it’s easy to clean and it can be re-configured as Sophie grows so it’s useful even beyond the first couple of years. A worthwhile investment!
See Kai Run shoes
I have seen @Milestones.and.Motherhood mention this brand often on Instagram when she has followers ask what the best shoes are for kiddos learning to walk. As a pediatric physical therapist, I trust her recommendation and think that we’ll be ordering a pair for Sophie.
I hope this guide was helpful for you and you score some items that you need (or want!) at a discount.
Happy shopping, friends!
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
