I wish I could have sent each of you a holiday card, but I’m including a digital version in this post instead:
OUR FAMILY WISHES YOU AND YOURS A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON, FRIENDS!
It’s been another wild year, but a good one overall. I hope it’s been the same for you!
I have been waiting to start the holiday family photo tradition for decades (even before I met my husband!) so I’m feeling sentimental about this being Sophie’s First Christmas and our first-of-many holiday photos together as a family. I can’t wait to look back on them and see how much she’s grown over the years!
I seriously can’t get over Sophie’s expressions in all of these photos! She was totally hamming it up at our shoot with Brittany and Joe! I didn’t know what to expect from Sophie and just hoped we’d get at least one good photo of her smiling, but it ended up that we had so many more to choose from for our holiday card than I had anticipated!! Brittany captured so many great moments and I love how she styled this festive scene in their Capitol Hill studio space!
Joe is also amazing with kids and has a gift for being able to make them smile / laugh so that probably helped. 😉 I never miss an opportunity to sing their praises — if you are in need of an engagement / wedding / family photographer team, Brittany and Joe are so awesome!
They’ve captured all of our major milestones (engagement, wedding, pregnancy announcement, maternity, and newborn) and we’re so grateful to know them.
Sophie was the only Christmas present that I wanted this year, and she did not disappoint. 🥰
Becoming a mom has been the most challenging, but also the most rewarding experience and Sophie has made it so easy (in the grand scheme of things). We feel so lucky to have our little girl!
(HOW IS SHE ALREADY SIX MONTHS OLD TOMORROW?! 😩)
