Happy Fridayyy! It was a short week for us with Monday being a snow day here in Seattle (in a city of hills, our city becomes completely immobilized by the presence of snow), but it felt like this week was 6 days long! We have even more winter weather headed our way this weekend so we’re stocking up on all of the coffee, hot cocoa, and soups, while pulling out all of our blankets, candles and cozy slippers! (snow day essentials, obviously). How are my fellow Seattleites managing? Are you pro or anti snow?
On a personal note: today is bittersweet for me as it is my last day at my current job and I start a brand new one on Monday (weather permitting)! I have truly enjoyed working with my department, but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things! I’m going to miss my team, but I’m really excited for the challenge of this new opportunity. As they say: Onward and upward!
– Possible “Gossip Girl” Reboot: With a lot of popular tv shows returning to the screen lately, it’s only natural for “Gossip Girl” to be discussed. The rumors around “talks” of a reboot have sparked interviewers to ask the actors if they would consider becoming the beloved characters once again… it sounds like the actors all have their schedules full with films/tv shows and they’re all hesitant to commit to reprising their roles. That being said, the general consensus among the lead characters seems to be a unanimous “never say never.” I’ll take it! A teen soap opera with gorgeous fashion and a glittering NYC backdrop? Admittedly, it’s still a major guilty pleasure in my Netflix cue. #chuckandblair4ever

– Halo Top Pops: Halo Top has a new creation: Halo👏🏼Top 👏🏼Pops. You guys, I can hardly contain my excitement! While I adore pints of their lightened up ice cream, I can easily end up eating the whole container in one sitting if I’m not paying attention (read: binging Gossip Girl episodes 😉). With Halo Top Pops I have the satisfaction of “finishing” the dessert without eating more than I should. Admittedly, Halo Top is healthier than eating the real deal, but a container still isn’t intended to be eaten all at once. I’m thrilled with their inaugural flavor combinations: Peanut Butter Swirl, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Strawberry Cheesecake at only 50/60 calories per pop! Which flavor are you most excited to try?

– Invisibobble Waver: I’m pretty obsessed with my Invisibobble traceless hair ties, so I’m super intrigued by their newest product: the Waver. Invisibobble has only offered a few teasers so far, but as far as I can tell they look like bobby pins on steroids and I’m here for it! Definitely going to give the Wavers a try once they’re available.

– Valentine’s Day Flowers: My husband and I worked with Kristen of Wild Bloom Floral Studio for our wedding day florals last June and he TOTALLY delivered! He gave us exactly what we asked for with his own special flair and we loved it. I was super excited to learn that Kristen (@wildbloomfloral) has partnered with Seattle’s Glasswing Shop to make his amazing creations more available for occasions/holidays! I love his style and I know that you will too! All of the styles shown above are available in varying sizes and prices (anywhere from $35-$200). Kristen also makes gorgeous arrangements for birthdays, Mother’s Day, congratulations, etc. so reach out to him to create the perfect one-of-a-kind arrangement for your loved one!
If you’re in Seattle, are you ready for some snow this weekend? If you’re anywhere else, what are your weekend plans? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
xx, Natalie
