Slip Silk Pillowcase: I have been considering getting a silk pillowcase for years. My hair is prone to breakage because of all of the heat tools I use on it and I’ve heard that silk is not only gentle on your hair, it’s good for your skin as well! According to the “Benefits” tab on their website: “… slipsilk™ [has] shown to absorb significantly less face cream and create 43% less friction on average, versus cotton pillowcases.” Sign me up for this magical anti-aging, anti-sleep crease, and anti-bed head pillowcase!
Clarisonic Mia FIT: This facial scrubbing brush is intended for travel, but I find that it’s the perfect fit (get it?) for our shower caddy and just the right size to hold. It’s a great little tool for helping to slough off dead skin on my face and neck — I always feel especially smooth and clean after using it! It recharges quickly and the brush heads are interchangeable so you can switch it up when they need replacing or change it altogether depending on what your needs are (there’s even a makeup blending brush head!).
Shhhowercap: Talk about a glow-up — this is not your generic, flimsy hotel shower cap. This shower cap is waterproof, first and foremost; the material is durable and comes in a lot of different colors and patterns to suit any personality. Inside the hem is a little rubber strip that is gentle on hair and skin, but is effective at keeping the cap securely in place (meaning your hair stays dry). Another plus: no more plastic caps ending up in landfills since you’re going get MANY uses out of this shower cap!
Lounging Robe: Plum Pretty Sugar makes the cutest robes! I’ve received one as a bridesmaid gift and I wear it at home all the time! There are so many colors/patterns to choose from — the “Persimmon Hears Her Wish” pattern is my favorite! They’re so comfortable to slip into while doing your hair and makeup, or even for just hanging out around the house.
Diptyque Candle Set: I’m obsessed with Diptyque candles… the scents are so well balanced and the candles burn forever. This little trio set is the perfect gift so that the recipient can sample three different fragrances.
Ladurée Macarons: This box of delicate cookies is always a great gift, and who better to buy these treats from than the company that started it all?! Ladurée offers an array of amazing “always” flavors and delicious rotating “seasonal” flavors – it’s always difficult to make selections.
Sara Happ Lip Slip: I have had my eye on this super smooth and moisturizing lip balm ever since I started reading rave reviews about it years ago! I’m currently working on a different (lesser) lip balm pot, but once that’s gone I can’t wait to snag one of these!
Silk Sleep Mask: I bought this mask ahead of our honeymoon trip to Paris this past summer, and I adore it. I have tried other sleep masks in the past that either put too much pressure on my eyelids or they were too transparent and didn’t block light out very well. This mask is incredibly gentle on my eyes, but still stays put and omits any light. The silk is so gentle on skin, it was like wearing a cloud on my face. Highly recommend!
Kiehl’s Face Mask: I love this mask. I use it for all manner of skin issues, but the main reason that I reach for it is to calm my skin down when I start to get a breakout (I thought these would go away by the time I turned 30! 😩). In my experience, this mask helps to reign in the puffiness/redness of blemishes and helps to eliminate them faster.
Philosophy Body Wash: This multitasking gel can be used as a shampoo, shower gel or bubble bath with a major bonus: all of the scents are incredible — think of it as the Yankee Candle that you can bathe in. Definitely a cult favorite (for good reason)!
Kiehl’s Crème de Corps: Ultra-moisturizing, there’s a reason why this amazing product always makes it on the Best Seller lists. This product is especially perfect for the colder winter months when skin tends to be drier than normal… I love to apply it right after a hot shower when my skin is especially absorbent for maximum effectiveness!
Margaux Slippers: This plush and comfortable ballet style slipper could almost pass for a pair of regular ballet flats (which Margaux also offers!). I love wearing my UGG moccasins at home, but these ballet slippers are way more packable so they’re perfect to toss in your bag for a sleepover with the girls or to put in your carry-on for a trip.
Champagne: Okay, so this gift is actually a great one for anyone who loves a little bubbly, but who doesn’t enjoy a little indulgence every once in a while? Madame Clicquot is attributed with creating the riddling process which is a crucial step during the traditional method of making champagne… so as the mother of “modern” champagne, it is only appropriate that I include a bottle of the champagne house’s classic brut as an excellent gift (and certainly one that I would love to receive)!
