I wish I could send each of you a holiday card, but I’m including a digital version in this post instead:
OUR FAMILY WISHES YOU AND YOURS A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON, FRIENDS!

It’s time for our annual tradition: family holiday card photos!
Brittany and Joe have captured all of our major milestones… our engagement, our wedding, Sophie’s pregnancy announcement, my first maternity photos, second maternity photos, Sophie’s newborn session, Chloe’s newborn session, as well as a variety of other photoshoots. We’re so grateful to know them and to be able to work with them year after year!

For previous holiday sessions we’ve had our photos taken at Brittany & Joe’s Capitol Hill studio space (that Brittany thoughtfully decorates) and even in our home, but this year Brittany & Joe found another local studio space that offers the option to be fully furnished with festive decor.
Brittany always does such a beautiful job with her studio decor, but not having to manage it all is one less thing on her plate during such a busy season. And, thankfully, the seasonal decor at The Nest by North City Studio totally matches Brittany’s aesthetic so it felt like a very natural choice for hosting a morning of holiday mini-sessions!

I can’t even handle this sweetness!

Brittany captured all of us so well… Sophie had such a blast with the decor and Chloe loved exploring the space too! We brought one of her favorite stuffies (a Jellycat bear) as both a prop and as a comfort item for her since she’s only ~18 months and still a bit shy around people she doesn’t see frequently.
Chloe is also teething (again 🫠) with at least one molar so it’s a miracle that Brittany was able to get any snaps of her without her hands in her mouth AND smiling! Forever impressed with Britt’s quick camera snapping skills.
…

There are a lot of papergood companies to work with to create beautiful holiday cards, but I chose to use Minted again this year. I love all of the card design options available (created by independent artisans!), being able to create mockups with my photos to see how they’ll look in a design before making a selection, all of the customization options, and their digital contact list which makes addressing cards SO much easier.
*Tip: They also have a “New Year cards” section if your calendar has you too overwhelmed to get cards out in time for the Christmas season. 😉

I know it’s a little late for this year, but if you like any of the pieces that we’re wearing you can find the details for all of our looks in this post.
However, if you’re looking for even more family photo outfit inspiration (for all seasons, not just holiday!) I’ve gathered quite a bit of inspiration here — additionally, you can purchase shoppable family lookbooks here!

Here’s to 2026! May your Christmas be merry and your New Year sparkling and bright!
Sending big hugs —
xx, Natalie
