Hey there!
I’ve been feeling a bit melancholy about the passage of time lately. As a parent, some days just feel like you’re slogging through it… counting down the hours (hell, the minutes) until bedtime. It can take everything out of you and leave you feeling super depleted by the end of the day. I don’t say this because I regret having kids or because I am ungrateful — I’m just trying to illustrate how all-consuming it is to be a parent! Sometimes you’re just in Survival Mode and then something like swapping our child’s clothing out for the next size up knocks the wind out of you.
Today’s Five Things are items that have piqued my interest or things that have been on my mind / going on in my life recently!

CREATE Capsule Collection
I have been a long time admirer of Sinclair & Moore weddings and events — my only regret is that I discovered them after our own wedding. Everything Steve does is truly magical! I can’t believe how the Sinclair & Moore team + vendors manage to pull everything off so seamlessly at their events (I know it takes a LOT of hard work and pivots when necessary) — I am forever impressed with the stunning end results.
When Steve announced the Sinclair & Moore CREATE Capsule Collection digital magazine, I couldn’t have hit “purchase” faster! I have loved every issue so far — Steve & Jamie have shared wonderful recipes (with excellent detailed instructions), helpful hosting tips, and some truly beautiful printables both for decor & for gifting! I am left feeling inspired after every issue and look forward to each one.
If you are looking to “de-mystify” hosting, for foolproof classic recipes & gorgeous styling ideas, I absolutely cannot recommend the Sinclair & Moore CREATE Capsule Collection more!

LEPRECHAUN TRAP
This was our first year having a leprechaun trap! And since I was introducing the idea to Sophie (3 y/o) and her scissor skills aren’t great yet I figured I’d just make it this year — in the coming years I look forward to creating our trap together!
I wrote a more detailed blog post about our trap here, but it’s basically a decorated tissue box. I kept it fairly uncomplicated this year because I simply don’t have the bandwidth, but I’m still pleased with the results and Sophie really enjoyed it too! I think she’ll really have fun making the trap next year!

LIQUID LIP STAIN
I would NEVER have ordered this if I hadn’t seen @juliaberolzheimer use it first. The tint goes on your lips in this galactic purply blue color (I imagine this is so you can see where you’re putting the lip tint), but it makes me feel very Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century while I wait for it to dry. 😆
I use color “XOXO Stain & Go” — after wiping the excess off, it leaves your lips a beautiful natural pinky nude color which is perfect for my current ultra low-maintenance makeup routine. It would also be wonderful for vacation or general summer beauty (at the pool, beach, etc).

COLD FOAM CREAMER
You’ll be hard pressed to find a classic hot / iced coffee in my hands ever since I had my first sip of cold brew — I’ve been completely converted and it’s my favorite kind of coffee to enjoy these days. I’ve been perfectly happy using a splash of creamer in my daily cold brew, but I’ve also become totally enamored with Starbucks’ cold foam… it feels like less dairy in my coffee (even if it’s an equal amount, just with air in it) and I adore the pillowy texture of it.
When my local grocery store was out of my preferred creamer I decided to try out a grocery store cold foam option. I ended up choosing an International Delight foam in French Vanilla. I was pleased with the texture as I topped my coffee and with the flavor, but I will say that since it’s shelf stable it doesn’t dissolve into the coffee quite the same as a fresh cold foam made by a barista. It’s a fun novelty option every now and again, but it won’t be replacing my usual creamer.

POSHMARK CLOSET
Now that Chloe is 9 months old I’m finally going through her wardrobe and since she is our last baby I am finding new homes for all of the clothes she is growing out of. (I’m so emotional about it, which is why it’s taken me so long to get started in this process 😭).
I saved a few special pieces from when Sophie was a baby and added a few new ones just for Chloe, but now it’s time to pass the gently worn items along to families with new babies! I recently started listing items that are in really good condition on Poshmark… other items that didn’t make the cut are being donated or even recycled(!).
I also plan to add items from my own wardrobe in the future. I’m an avid Poshmark buyer, but I’m just easing into the selling side of things with tiny human clothes to start out.

I hope your March was a good one, friends!
Sending hugs —
