I wish I could have sent each of you a holiday card, but I’m including a digital version in this post instead:
OUR FAMILY WISHES YOU AND YOURS A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON, FRIENDS!

I’m so thrilled that our holiday family photo tradition has grown to include both of our darling girls — this is Chloe’s first Christmas, her first holiday photoshoot, and technically her “six month” photos (even though we took them closer to ~5 months 😉).
Brittany and Joe have captured all of our major milestones… our engagement, our wedding, Sophie’s pregnancy announcement, my first maternity photos, second maternity photos, Sophie’s newborn session, Chloe’s newborn session, as well as a variety of other photoshoots and we’re just so grateful to know them!

In prior years we have had our holiday photos taken at Brittany & Joe’s Capitol Hill studio space which is always so beautifully decorated, but Brittany suggested having our session at our home this year! Since we had such a positive experience doing that for Chloe’s newborn session, we knew it would be another great time.

We loved having another photoshoot with Brittany in our home. It’s always fun to shoot in a studio space, but it feels so much more comfortable and relaxed to shoot in your own environment (especially with kids!).

Brittany captured all of us so well… Sophie had such a blast and Chloe is so enamored with Sophie that she thought everything Sophie was up to was amazing and therefore was all smiles for the camera!
…

There are a lot of papergood companies to work with to create beautiful holiday cards, but I chose to use Minted again this year. I love all of the card design options available (created by independent artisans!), being able to create mockups with my photos to see how they’ll look in a design before making a selection, all of the customization options, and their digital contact list which makes addressing cards SO much easier.
They also have a “New Year cards” section if your calendar has you too overwhelmed to get cards out in time for the holidays.

I know it’s a little late for this year, but if you like any of the pieces that we’re wearing you can find the details for all of our looks in this post.
However, if you’re looking for even more family photo outfit inspiration (for all seasons, not just holiday!) I’ve gathered quite a bit of inspiration here — additionally, you can purchase shoppable family lookbooks here!

Here’s to 2025! May your Christmas be merry and your New Year sparkling and bright, friends — cheers!
Sending big hugs —
xx, Natalie
