Hello, friends! I’m finally coming out of the Fourth Trimester Fog — we have had a LOT going on over the past few months:
In addition to having Chloe we also had some family members stay with us for a few months, which was great, but certainly an adjustment for four adults who are used to their usual routines and then having a newborn in the mix. We began potty-training Sophie who also started preschool, and then both girls got sick after Sophie’s first week of school (which I guess is to be expected, but it still sucked).
It’s been a WHIRLWIND, but I’m finally getting my feet back under me and I’m so happy to be back to [semi-]regular posting!!
Today’s Five Things are items that have piqued my interest or things that have been on my mind / going on in my life recently!

AUTUMN DECOR
It’s tiiiiime!! I pulled out all of our autumn decor recently and I’m really excited to add our Halloween items to make everything spookier in a few days (I try to wait until Oct 1st to put out Halloween decor)!
You can find all of my autumn decor (including Halloween and Thanksgiving) items here!

WASHING MACHINE CLEANER
I know home maintenance stuff isn’t “sexy”, but it’s so important to take care of your appliances! I honestly didn’t even know this was something I needed to do until I accidentally stumbled upon this product. Keep your washing machine fresh by using these tabs and “Self Clean” mode on your appliance once a month.
We also prop the front-loading door open when not in use to help mitigate odors and reduce mold growth. Ours stays open on its own, but if your machine’s front-loading door closes on its own you can prop it open with a handy tool.

FAVORITE MOISTURIZER
I’m still navigating this new-to-me world of rosacea, but I’ve found that my skin really loves this Summer Fridays Rich Cushion Cream. I just replaced my empty container because my skin was so unhappy without this hydration boost! This product would also be perfect for dry /normal / combination skin, especially as we enter the cooler, drier seasons!

MAGIC PLAYBOOK 2.0
I’m really excited about this second iteration of the Magic Playbook! These activities are so fun and so beautifully designed — I love that they’re bound in a workbook format now (with a digital option also available for printing duplicates if you need!). You can just tear the perforated pages out or leave them inside the book… they’re great for using at home, but I find them to be especially perfect for on-the-go entertainment!
You can get just a straightforward activity pouch or subscribe and get an activity pouch + recurring workbooks in the mail each month!

APPLE PICKING
I’m so excited to return to Swan’s Trail Farm with Sophie this year to participate in their U-Pick apples from their amazing orchards, as well as picking out our front porch pumpkins for the rest of the autumn season!
There is no admission cost for the U-Pick Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch, and you have access to the Donut Barn, General Store, etc. but there is an admission fee if you want to participate in the Harvest Festival (so many fun attractions!).
I highly recommend this farm for wholesome Harvest Festival family fun!
*Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty/muddy!

Wishing you a truly wonderful weekend, friends!
Sending hugs —
