Hello, friends! Happy Friday — we made it!
We’re currently in a sunny, tropical destination and it’s been the absolute best time for our little family of three. We’re having a “last hurrah” / babymoon before our munchkin arrives this summer and I’m just savoring all of these moments before our family grows. Sophie’s at such a fun age right now and it’s been such a blast to have this vacation experience with her!
Hooray, it’s March! We’re only a couple of weeks away from the spring equinox so I’m hoping that means having a few more sunnier, slightly warmer days ahead. We’ve been trying to get Sophie outside every day, but it’s hard when it’s constantly cold and wet (something that never bothered me until we had a toddler — haha). I’m really looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day / spring / Easter activities with Sophie… I already have a few in mind and can’t wait to bring them to life!
Today’s Five Things are items that have piqued my interest or things that have been on my mind / going on in my life recently!

REDNESS COLOR CORRECTOR
My rosacea has been in full effect lately and to help tone down the color I’ve been using this color correcting product by Dr. Jart+ that was recommended to me by my bestie. It’s the first color-correcting product that’s actually made a difference for me as my redness is more intense than just rosy cheeks. You can use it just as-is for a natural look or layer it under other makeup products, to your preference. I do both; for a more formal event or family photos I’m certainly doing both, but for everyday it’s nice just to minimize the redness a bit.
To my knowledge, the product isn’t necessarily made specifically for rosacea sufferers, but it’s certainly become part of my new Holy Grail of beauty products as I navigate this new chapter in my skincare. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with redness as well.

BUMPSUIT
I recently shared my review (with styling ideas!) for this new mainstay in my maternity wardrobe. I don’t use this word lightly, but I am truly obsessed with it. It’s beyond comfortable and has become a staple in my outfit rotation. I even wore it as my travel outfit on our trip! I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

LIQUID IV HYDRATION MULTIPLIER
As someone with hyperhidrosis I always find it challenging to stay hydrated… my 40oz Stanley certainly helps me to drink more water since I always have it nearby, but sometimes plain water just gets a bit boring and I’m less interested in drinking it. That’s where my electrolyte-rich Liquid IV drinks come in! My personal favorite flavors are the Strawberry Lemonade, Lemon-Lime, and Piña Colada! They feel like a treat to sip and they help me boost my hydration. I really only ever need one a day, but it really does help me, especially as the temperatures are beginning to rise.

TRAVEL BEACH TOTE
I normally travel with a different bag as my “personal item” because it’s the perfect size to schlep all of the things I need for our family, but I knew that on this trip I wasn’t going to want to bring it to the pool or the beach to carry all of our gear. Instead, I grabbed this awesome waterproof / sandproof nylon tote ahead of our travels and I’m just so thrilled with it!
It made total sense to bring this bag on our tropical excursion with all of the potential for sandy and wet situations. It’s really roomy and easily fits my ToteSavvy Deluxe organizer; it has an interior zipper pocket for small items (which is removable if you don’t want / need it!); the top has a zipper closure that’s amazing for keeping everything secure (with double zipper pulls!); and there are two strap lengths — one short pair for hand-carrying and one longer pair to put over your shoulder. I chose this colorway because it reminded me of a designer bag that I like, but there are quite a few options to choose from to suit your style! You could totally pack it in your luggage and just use it at your destination, but I found it to work just great as my travel bag as well (in an effort to minimize my luggage contents).

VIRTUAL AQUARIUM VISITS
This is a pretty random share and I’m sure most other people who parented during the COVID-19 quarantine era are aware of this, but many zoos and aquariums have enclosure cams that are accessible on their websites! Sophie has been on a major otter kick lately so I thought I’d look up if any aquariums offered an otter cam, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium does! We’ve spent so much time watching them play and trying to guess where they’re going to pop up. 🤣 Highly recommend finding a nature cam for your toddler for the days when you can’t make a trip to the zoo or aquarium!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend, friends, and I can’t wait to tell you all about our family trip so soon.
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
