We have kind of a tricky holiday situation this year so I’m keeping all of our Christmas decor super minimal, but because I adore the holidays I have to add at least some festive flair around our house! It feels wrong not to! Thankfully, the dining room table is always a great location for a bit of decoration that doesn’t require much effort.
I shared in this post what I am decorating the rest of the house with this year, but I failed to include the dining table setup! I love this look so much I wanted to make sure that I shared it in some capacity.

This year I’m repurposing some of my “always” items such as my table runner, woven placemat / chargers, and neutral napkins and then simply adding seasonal dishware and a few other holiday-inspired elements.
…
Our festive set of dishes was a super thoughtful gift from my mom and my godmother from a few years ago and I always think of them when I pull the set out of storage. I love to display them on the table all season long for a little holiday flair! The red color feels like such a quintessential element of the Christmas season and this muted tone really lends a vibe that can be both casual or elevated. The scenes and quotes from the “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” poem couldn’t be more seasonally appropriate!
…
The last little flourish for the table will be adding a garland on top of the table runner that weaves its way across the length of the table with twinkling candles sprinkled around it.

I’m so happy to finally be able to really embrace the holiday spirit because it’s such a short season, but a wonderfully cheerful time of year!
Happy [holiday] shopping, friends.
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
