Weekly Roundup: Vol 4

Hey, friends — it’s been a minute! (Regarding both this series as well as posting in general). I’ve been busy with Sophie, but I have some additional blog posts in the works, so stay tuned for those in the coming weeks!

I’ve made a few discoveries lately that I thought I’d share in a Weekly Roundup because these items excited me and I thought you might like them too.

La Colombe Cold Brew

One of our favorite non-PNW based coffee roasters, La Colombe, is not only selling bottles and cans of their cold brew, but it’s being carried exclusively at Whole Foods! If you’re also lucky enough to live in a few select cities (currently Denver, Boulder, and Boston), you can even get a freshly brewed cup from a barista inside your Whole Foods store! La Colombe also has a seasonal pumpkin spice canned “draft latte” (as well as a dairy free option!) right now and I bet it’s amazing… I hope to try both the dairy and dairy free options!

La Boulangerie Croissant Loaf

Keeping with the breakfast theme, I keep seeing ads for this amazing culinary invention and not only does it sound delicious, I think it would be PERFECT to have on-hand for the holidays! Because these loaves can be frozen, you can order one or two now and have them ready to enjoy an easy-but-exciting breakfast when your friends or family come over (total host hack!).

Bug Shield Blanket

I know that summer’s coming to an end, but I love the idea of being able to enjoy the cooler days outside (before it gets too chilly!) without getting attacked by bugs. As someone who normally gets devoured by mosquitoes, this product is incredibly appealing to me. It’s a washable(!) bug repellant blanket (that’s pregnancy and child safe); no product to apply to skin / wash off. I also love all three of the style options; they’re each so classic and don’t think you would have any difficulty adding any of them to your home decor.

Only Murders in the Building

Are you watching this show on Hulu? I am really enjoying it so far! The characters are fun and the storyline is intriguing, at least for me. It’s been a while since I’ve been so “into” a tv show! Maybe I’m weird, but I think it’s kind of fun to wait for weekly episodes to be released… it transports me back to high school when we’d watch new episodes of “Friends” and (the original) “Gossip Girl” in real time. It’s been nice to have some entertainment to look forward to every week!

2022 “A Year in Paris” Calendar

Rebecca Plotnick from the Everyday Parisian blog is now offering pre-order of her 2022 Parisian photo calendars that can double as art in your home once the month is over (they’re able to be trimmed and framed — there’s even a large option for the first time this year!)! Once they’re gone, they’re gone so pre-order your copy now! I believe she is also offering Italian calendar option this year, if that’s more your style.

Loeffler Randall x Lewis Athena Totes

One of my favorite brands (Loeffler Randall) has collaborated with Lewis to make two beautiful new prints for their Athena tote bag (intended as a diaper / baby bag)! The totes include a removable changing pad and pockets in both the interior and on the exterior. The best part is that 10% of the purchase proceeds are being donated to Nurse-Family Partnership — what better reason to buy a beautiful bag!?

Kinedu app (also available in Play Store)

Daily science-based activities to do w/ your baby – play for development! The app offers easy ways to interact with baby to help them meet milestones. I love that they cater to your baby’s age so the activities are suited to their stage of life + length of play time. Sophie is normally awake for about an hour (including her feeding time) before she gets sleepy and then she naps for 3-4 hrs before she eats again so I need her activities to be effective, but not super long so we can do them together during her wake time! There are a lot of free activity suggestions, but also some subscription / paid upgrades depending on your needs. I’m loving the activities so far and it seems like Sophie is enjoying herself too! It’s so fun to watch her growth and development.

Happy Friday, friends!
Sending hugs —

xx, Natalie
