I have been searching for a pair of these Tory Burch Clara flats in my size and preferred color for almost a year now. Not buying them when Tory Burch actually had them in stock is basically the biggest [fashion] regret of my life. Now, I am relegated to scouring the internet, hoping that someone else who bought a pair is willing to sell them on Poshmark, eBay, the RealReal, Mercari, etc.
I nearly screamed when I opened up my inbox today to see an email from one of my other favorite shoe brands (Rothy’s) sharing the newest shoe to their lineup: the Mary Jane. It’s essentially the same silhouette as the Clara flat, but a less expensive version that’s made out of recyclable materials, washable (obviously, this makes them hyperhidrosis friendly!), and available in more color options.

YOU. GUYS. 😍 They’re SO similar and the Mary Janes’ bows actually untie so that they can be adjusted (the bows on the Tory flats are sewn into place)!

They’re super pretty and I LOVELOVELOVE all of the colorways! I just had to share them with you because I am beyond excited!!!

Black // Rosebud // Wildcat // Cinnamon // Sapphire
As with all shoes that have a pointed toe box, I highly recommend going up half a size (most Rothy’s customers recommend doing this for their Point style, which is essentially the same cut as the Mary Jane, but without a bow). I also wrote a post here on how to clean your Rothy’s, since they’re washable and I adore my Loafer style!

I’m trying to decide on which color to get… the Black ones are so classic and will go with everything in my wardrobe, but the Wildcat and Cinnamon are close contenders for me! (Maybe I need all 3? 🤔 lol!) Which colorway is your favorite?

UPDATE: I ended up purchasing the Mary Janes in “Cinnamon” (to start my collection) and I LOVE them!!
I hope this post was helpful for those of you also wanting the look for less!
You can find more of my dupes here.
Happy shopping, friends!
Sending hugs —
