If you’re looking for suggestions, the following are my [current] favorite beauty items that are carried at Sephora. Some items may be investment prices, but (1) I promise they’re worth it — I only share about products that I use and love for myself and (2) it’s a great time to give things a try when they’re at a discounted price!
For a quick shop of my favorite items, you can skip the full post and find everything in my ShopMy storefront here.

HAIR
I have always loved haircare and definitely have more products pertaining to hair than anything else in my beauty arsenal. For reference, I have Type 2A hair and these are the products from Sephora that I have found work the best for my hair type.
*Note: many of these products are formulated to be used with all hair types, such as my favorite shampoo and conditioner, but the styling products may or may not work for you depending your hair’s texture and needs!

Tools
Hair Dryer
you can read my full review here, but I’m basically obsessed with this tool
Straightener
you can read my full review here; just know that I think it’s absolutely worth the investment
AirWrap
you can read my full review here — tl;dr I went in not expecting to like it, but it made a believer out of me!
Curling Iron
I love that this set has three interchangeable heads, depending on the look I am trying to achieve. I have had it for more than 5 years now and it still works as well as the day I got it! highly recommend
Hair Turban
a gentler way to dry your hair; the microfiber doesn’t strip your hair of moisture
Hair Ties
these hair ties are covered in silk and are my favorite for wearing to bed to prevent breakage

Products
Shampoo // Conditioner
this is my everyday pair for routine hair cleansing; they come in travel sizes that are perfect for sampling or travel
Detox Shampoo // Hair Repair Treatment // Leave-In Conditioner
these are my favorite products for giving my hair a little extra TLC
Dry Shampoo
this is a ride-or-die product for me as I have been using it for years to keep my oily scalp at bay (yes, I have tried others and this is still my favorite)
Blowout Spray // Smoothing Cream // Hair Oil // Texturizing Spray // Air Dry Foam
when I style my hair (both for a polished look or encouraging some shape when it air dries), these are the products that I use to get the best results
Styling Cream // Mousse // Gel
when I use the “curly girl method” on my hair, these are the products that I use to get the best results
Dry Shampoo Mist
this product is a true MIRACLE after workouts — you have to absolutely saturate your hair and blow it dry, using a round brush to lift the roots, but it does an incredible job even after a super sweaty exercise sesh

BATH & BODY
The following are my current favorite products to care for my body and address my skin concerns that are available at Sephora:

Body
Body Wash
I love this clean body wash and use it in every shower; I made the switch during my pregnancy and never looked back!
[Scalp &] Body Sugar Scrub
I am someone who LOVES the grit of a body scrub and this product fits the bill!
Body Lotion
I don’t often use body lotion, but in winter weather this moisturizer is my salvation. it absorbs easily and doesn’t leave a greasy residue on my skin. for best absorption apply after a shower!
Hand Lotion
due to my hyperhidrosis I don’t require a hand lotion, but my husband suffers from super dry hands (haha — what a pair we are! 😜) and he swears by this lotion to prevent his knuckles from cracking!
…

Face
Facial Cleanser
my absolute favorite facial cleanser; it’s pricey, but that’s why I wait to grab it during sales. it also lasts for a long time because you only need to use a small amount — a little truly goes a LONG way
Gel Moisturizer // Mask
my rosacea-prone skin does really well with this gel moisturizer
Lip Moisturizer
my absolute favorite balm that keeps my lips moisturized all day

MAKEUP
I keep my makeup routine pretty simple. I personally prefer an “enhanced natural beauty” look to the full face of glam for my every day and these are my favorite products to accomplish that look:
3-in-1 Skin Tint
I love the this lightweight complexion corrector — it contains SPF30, and hyaluronic acid for maintaining moisture, and the tint acts as a sheer foundation
Concealer
this liquid concealer is my go-to because it works so well at brightening my under eyes as well as hiding any blemishes
Bronzer
the cream stick makes this product so easy to apply and it blends beautifully
Blush
this cream stick formula is so pigmented and beautiful — the color “Louise” was actually formulated for those of us dealing with rosacea so that’s my shade
Liquid Eyeliner
this liquid liner is my favorite — the brush provides so much control; it’s the perfect balance of firm & soft and the liquid formula does a great job of staying in place
Mascara
my go-to mascara for every day; no clumps and gives great length!
Lip Gloss / Balm
(Bobbi Brown // Summer Fridays)
I bounce between these two options — the BB crushed gloss is a true gloss and I find it to be well pigmented whereas the SF balm is more sheer with a hint of color
Setting Spray
I recently had to change my setting spray due to a super drying ingredient in the one I’ve used for years (due to it causing rosacea flare ups); this setting spray comes in SUPER handy for events, especially in extremely humid conditions
Fragrance
Daily Signature // Travel
I know it’s “basic”, but I love this fragrance so much and I find it complements my body’s natural scent well (it’s amazing how your body chemistry can affect the way a fragrance smells when it mixes with your own scent!). I also enjoy this scent, but I reserve it for travel because it’s available in a roller ball applicator (my preferred fragrance application for travel)

Happy shopping, friends!
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
