We were lucky to get a few amazing weather days on the forecast so I’m hoping to spend some time outside with Sophie! We took my mom to the tulip festival in Mt. Vernon last week and it was just as stunning as usual. I don’t think I’ll ever get over those beautiful fields holding rows upon rows of gorgeous and amazing blooms. I always enjoy the trip and look forward to visiting some local peony fields for the first time this summer! We’re also planning to clock some swimming and playground time with Sophie so we can’t wait for all of that fun. How is she going to be TWO in June!?
Today I’m sharing five things that have piqued my interest or things that have been on my mind / going on in my life recently!

Stanley Tumbler
You guys, I was hellbent on avoiding owning one of these viral tumblers, but I caved when I saw the “soft touch” option in this beautiful neutral Dune color. I know, I know… I’m late to the game, but it was mostly due to being stubborn about following a trend I thought might be dumb. They’re beloved because they hold 40oz, stay cold (or hot) for hours, have a sturdy handle and a nice straw, and easily fit in cupholders… I have to admit that I get the hype.

Cracked Heel Treatment
Sandal season is upon us, and since I don’t get to the nail salon as often as I should, I decided to try to find my own solution for an at-home pedicure. These fluffy, comfy toeless socks with a gel pad in the heel have been awesome in applying moisturizer on my drier areas. I apply this balm before putting the socks on and the gel pad helps keep the product on my skin to heal… my heels. 😅 (had to!) If you need to “bring in the big guns” you can use one of these peels which I have heard is extremely effective, but the experience is pretty gross with tons of skin peeling off of your feet in the process (the end result is very desirable though! You just have to be committed to wearing closed shoes while everything is peeling). I personally prefer to just use a little pumice stone / shaver situation.
After doing all of my skin maintenance, I turn to my nails. This kit has every tool you could ever need to get things in tip-top shape and I definitely need to get my cuticles under control as part of this endeavor. Lastly, for over a decade when I paint my toenails I love to use these toe spreaders to give myself more control and prevent smudges.

SENSORY BIN PLAY Table
We recently bought Sophie a little table that’s ideal for sensory play. It’s the perfect height and can be used for so many purposes beyond just a table.
I am in the process of writing a more detailed post about the table itself, additional table customization options, chairs, and some of the popular “frequently used” accessories for the play bins (little tools, bin covers, etc.) so keep an eye out for that!

INFLATABLE POOL
I recently ordered this MinniDip inflatable pool and splash pad for Sophie — we can’t wait to play in them this summer (and maybe this weekend if the weather holds out)! This is the inflating / deflating pump we ordered to save our lungs (haha) and also some of Sophie’s favorite water toys.
Check here for cute baby and toddler swimsuits!

Stranger Things Experience IN Seattle!
To me, it sounds like a Stranger Things themed escape room experience where you and [up to 5 other people?] “escape” from the Upside Down. Beyond that, Kiro7 says that “fans will be able to explore the ‘Mix-Tape’ room, where they can get a USS Butterscotch sundae at Scoops Ahoy, try to beat MADMAX’s high score, eat a pie from Surfer Boy Pizza, test out the first-ever ‘Stranger Things’ themed bar and even meet Vecna.”
The experience will be located at 1750 Occidental Ave South and open this May, but you can start to reserve spots by buying your tickets (sales opened up on April 19).

Have a great weekend, friends!
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
