Happy Friday the 13th, friends! I hope your day is going smoothly regardless of the superstition. 😉 We were supposed to leave for Cabo San Lucas yesterday, but the trip got derailed when multiple other people that were also attending the trip tested positive for COVID — we opted out so fast, which is such a bummer because we were looking forward to going (we got Sophie her first passport and everything)! Instead, we’re having a little family time since we already had the weekend earmarked for a trip and I can’t wait to enjoy time just the three of us.
Today I’m sharing five things that have piqued my interest or things that have been on my mind / going on in my life recently!

Julia Berolzheimer x Pottery Barn
I don’t know if you follow Julia or not (more than likely you already do), but if you’re unfamiliar with her, basically: everything she touches turns to gold. I think she’s one of the bloggers I have been following for the longest period of time (probably ~10 years?) and have watched her grow into a truly amazing businesswoman. She has such excellent style and it comes as no surprise to me that she was able to work with Pottery Barn to create a bespoke collection. I actually squealed in delight when the catalog featuring her collection arrived in our mailbox. The pieces in the PB collaboration are so classic while still remaining very “Julia” (especially since they’re in her signature dusty blue and sage green color scheme!).
I shared all of my favorites in the widget below and I can’t wait for the pieces that I ordered to arrive! Honestly, I may as well have just linked everything because the collection is just SO GOOD.

eby underwear
I have worn the same brand / style of underwear for over a decade now (obviously not the same pairs of underwear; I’ve frequently purchased new ones over the years! haha) and it was just feeling like time to upgrade. My friend Jess shared this brand with her followers within the past few months and I was intrigued enough by her review to buy a few pairs to try out. I was so impressed that I placed another order to stock up on my favorite style (the Cheeky!) during a recent sale and they just arrived a couple of days ago.
They are seamless underwear so they’re super comfy / don’t leave a VPL, and they have a no slip grip on the inside edges that keep them in place (minimizing wedgies and general movement). They’re my new favorite underwear (lol #thisis30something ) and I can’t recommend them enough! The brand offers all different styles for whatever your coverage preference is (in a variety of colors) and they’re size inclusive which makes me love them even more!
*A note regarding fit: I went with my normal size and found that they fit me perfectly.

Healthy Ranch Carrots
I recently saw this snack “hack” (if you can even call it that?) on social media for ranch-seasoned carrots. It could not be simpler: just toss baby carrots in your favorite ranch seasoning and store in the fridge in an air-tight container, ready for snacking! I don’t think the type of ranch seasoning necessarily matters, BUT I will say that I used my beloved Hidden Valley ranch seasoning and ended up eating the whole container of carrots in one sitting… so take that for what you will.
The amount of seasoning is to taste as well; I suggest starting with one teaspoon, tossing the carrots and then tasting one to see what you think before adding more. You can always sprinkle from there if you want bolder flavor (I personally ended up using about ~two teaspoons total).

Maman necklace
So, I know it’s the weekend after Mother’s Day so it’s technically too late to gift this to the mamas in your life this year, but it took me a while to find a piece of jewelry that I wanted to commemorate my first Mother’s Day as a mama and I finally landed on this one (a week late! whoops).
“Maman” is French for “mama” and I love the cursive font (the necklace was created in partnership with the Maman restaurant in NYC that uses this font as its logo). It’s so “me” and I can’t wait to wear it regularly. If you like the cursive font, but prefer the name “mama” I really liked this necklace option. If you do like the French word, but don’t care for cursive this option is for you!

Get In Photos With Your Littles
I definitely need to be better about doing this. Admittedly, I am pretty self conscious about being in photos and wanting my hair, makeup, etc to look perfect (I’m sure you’ve noticed that I rarely make an appearance in my blog images), but I need to learn to let that go and just get in the damn photos!
An IG account that I follow ( @busytoddler ) has a campaign to urge mothers get in the photos with their kids with the hashtag #proofofmom and I think it’s such a valuable reminder because joining photos is something that we don’t really think about until it’s too late! We’re always the ones snapping pics, but don’t always remember to get in them too.
I loved this blog post that Carly shared with the easy methods that she uses to get in photos with her baby just using her phone at home; no fancy equipment needed!
tl;dr — Make a point to be in the photos with your babes; you’ll be so glad you did.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends!
Sending hugs —
xx, Natalie
