So you’ve had a fun day at the apple farm and somehow you’ve picked two whole pecks of apples… now what? (Lol I honestly didn’t know that “bushels & pecks” were still units of measure until last year… 🤣). What I’m saying is, you can only eat so many apples while they’re still fresh. Speaking of which, one of my favorite snacks is to eat slices dipped in peanut butter (which I craved a lot during my pregnancy with Sophie)!

It seems almost impossible to eat all of your delicious produce before your fruit starts to turn. To get through all of the tasty apples you plucked from the orchard, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite sweet and savory recipes from the experts!
*Top Tip: Don’t forget to wash your fruit before you eat / cook / bake with them, even if they’re from the supermarket!

These caught my eye on Instagram and intrigued me enough to follow the link to the recipe! They sound so tasty!

Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp
I would trust any Ina recipe, and I believe this one has received rave reviews from anyone who has made it. What a perfect pie option for holiday meals!
Deep Dish Apple Pie
Since the apple-to-crust ratio is way in the favor of the apples in this dessert, it’s the perfect way to enjoy this delicious fruit. Want some added decadence? Make it à la mode!
Individual Baked Apple “Pies”
OR
Individual Apple Cinnamon Pies
Both of these recipes are on the healthier side, but still full of delicious apple flavor!
Brown Butter Apple Blondies
I’m sure these are amazing on their own, but I imagine that the cinnamon maple glaze totally levels them up.
Slow Cooker Maple Apple Butter
I bet this would taste SO GOOD spread over a slice of toasted croissant loaf!

SAVORY RECIPES
Apple Cheddar Quiche
Apples and cheddar cheese is such a delicious pairing — I’d love to make this quiche to enjoy for an autumn breakfast!
Apple Cider Baked Chicken
A tasty fall dinner option!
Cider-Braised Pork Chops with Apples
OR
Herbed Pork Tenderloins with Apple Chutney
I would consider making one of these as the main dish for a holiday meal!
Hasselback Honeynut Squash and Apples
I feel like this would be a delicious side dish for a Thanksgiving meal!
Roasted Brussels Sprout and Apple Salad with Black Walnuts
Another amazing holiday side dish idea! The freshness of the salad would be great palate refresher between all of the warm dishes.
Roasted Parsnip and Apple Soup with Gruyère Toasts
We’re entering Cozy Season and what better to enjoy this time of year than with a soup?! I bet this is absolutely delicious.
Apple Focaccia with Gruyère and Rosemary
Essentially a tart or even a modified version of pizza, this would be great as an appetizer or some nibbles for guests.
Apple and Cheddar Panini with Onion Jam
I NEED A PANINI PRESS STAT! As I mentioned above, I love the combination of apple & cheddar and I bet this is amazing, especially with the addition of onion jam!
Celery, Apple, and Fennel Slaw
This salad sounds incredibly crisp and fresh — I have discovered a love for fennel in recent years and I imagine this salad would be divine either as a starter or even as the main course.
