I always struggle with what to gift my husband for his birthday, our anniversary, and Christmas because he’s truly “the guy who has everything”. Now that we’re about to add Father’s Day to the mix I really have to get creative! I put together some ideas and thought I’d share them with you too in case you’re in a similar spot where the guys in your life are just difficult to shop for!

A drinkware upgrade is always a solid gift choice, especially if it’s something that your significant other hasn’t purchased for themselves. I love these old fashioned glasses for cocktails, this decanter set for sipping spirits neat or on the rocks, and this variety pack of beer glasses for the most popular styles of beer! And you can always pair one of these with a bottle of his favorite liquor or type of beer!

Speaking of beer, if your guy is really into brews, I recommend a Tavour Beer gift card or subscription. A [free] app download is required on this one, but it will give the subscriber access to a variety of beers that they may not have access to (because it’s manufactured in a different state, etc.). It’s really cool because you don’t have to commit to an entire 6-pack of something and can mix-and-match the items you want to try!

Do you have a coffee lover on your hands? If so, a Ratio Coffee Machine should be at the top of your list. We’ve used one before while staying at a friend’s place in Hawai’i and it was such a cool device! If we didn’t already have the espresso machine I can guarantee that we’d have one of these to brew a cup of the classic pour over style. Does he prefer his coffee cold? (me too!) If so, this Hario Cold Brew Bottle is such a chic and genius way to make your own at home instead of relying on grocery store varieties. (Also available on Amazon in more colors!)

The YETI Soft Cooler is perfect for keeping drinks cool on warm days at the beach, on the boat, at the lake, on the golf course, in the backyard, by the pool, when hiking / camping, etc. We don’t personally get the opportunity to do most of those things so we don’t personally own one of these coolers, but we absolutely love our YETI tumblers and have heard awesome things about the coolers from friends that have them. Perfect for keeping all beverages nice and chilled!

Are you shopping for a “heat-seeker”? A monthly Hot Sauce Subscription could be the answer! It’s fun to try artisanal hot sauces that you may not be able to find at your local grocery store and discover flavors that you really love! If a subscription doesn’t quite align with what you’re looking for, I suggest TRUFF Hot Sauce! They infuse their hot sauce with truffle oil so it’s an elevated flavor experience — perfect for the foodie / chef in your life!

If you’re shopping for someone who loves to grill, this Grill Masters Club sounds like such an awesome option. It’s a BBQ subscription box that comes with BBQ sauces, rubs, marinades, etc. How fun to have new products to experiment with delivered to your door! You could even combine this with (or substitute with) a ButcherBox or CrowdCow meat delivery subscription.
I always love the BBQ gift theme because you could also mix-and-match with accessories like an apron or grill toolset OR even upgrade his grill situation (the Big Green Egg grill is a popular option!).

We’ve all spent a ton of time at home over the past year and if you haven’t already, it’s time to level up your yard game options to continue having fun at home this summer! Games such as cornhole, Jenga, bocce, etc. are all super fun — most options are family-friendly, but there are plenty of games that are geared toward adults-only as well.

Looking to upgrade you guy’s personal care routine? Look no further than the Kiehl’s Mens Kit! It’s the perfect no-fuss lineup of quality products for his hair and skin; we love Kiehl’s and can’t recommend them enough. My husband also swears by their hand salve to rescue his dry, cracked hands and also really likes their deodorant if those are products that your fella may also be in need of.

In the same personal care realm, I thought this Manscaped personal maintenance kit was such a brilliant idea. I think most people don’t pay much attention to this step in their personal care, but I imagine that [most] men, in particular, don’t go the extra mile in this department. Having a specific hair trimmer and products for this delicate maintenance would be such a great gift (for both of you… lol). 😉

Now that the world is starting to reopen and travel isn’t just some distant memory, upgrading his luggage to a Filson Duffle Bag would be such a thoughtful gift! We swear by duffle bags because they can always be “squished” into the overhead bins (unlike roller bags). If he doesn’t need new luggage, you could always get him a nice Dopp Kit to keep all of his personal care items in for travel. My husband is obsessed with Filson because everything the brand makes is incredibly durable and intended to last a lifetime so while these items are a bit on the expensive side, they’re 100% worth it.

Apple AirPods (I know I include these on almost every gift list, but it’s because they’re THAT GOOD. We use ours daily! I have Classic version and my husband received the AirPods Pro for his birthday and LOVES them! Definitely a great gift for the music / podcast lover or if he takes a lot of work calls (my husband does all of those things, so this was a no-brainer gift for him!)

A sentimental gift idea for a new father could be personalized book that they can read with their kiddo(s)! I got a little emotional just reading some excerpts from the book that this company offers and I bet the new dad in your life will too. Artifact Uprising also offers a personalized book, but more geared around using your own photos than “story”. Love both options for different reasons!

Another sentimental gift would be a digital photo frame — I love that you can update the images in the display as more photos become available! I thought this frame would be the best option given its quality, aesthetic (looks like a real frame!), and ease of remote sharing. It would be the perfect gift, especially for someone that lives far away to help bridge the distance.
If these suggestions don’t quite work for your guy and his personality, I recommend checking out Uncommon Goods, The Grommet, and Mark & Graham for even more gift ideas!
Happy Father’s Day to the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and all father figures!
xx, Natalie
