Happy Friday, everyone! We’ve made it. Only a few more hours until the workweek is officially over and the weekend is here! I hope that you have some fun activities planned. We certainly do today is my husband’s birthday (Happy Birthday, babe!) Tonight we’re going to dinner at a new-to-us restaurant, Aerlume, to celebrate and then we’ll be heading to Bellingham on Saturday to see our favorite band perform! Not a bad way to enjoy the weekend, in my opinion. 😉
Pop-Up: The new-to-me makeup brand Glossier is planning a pop-up in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Admittedly, I don’t use a ton of their products currently, but I am definitely obsessed with their boy brow pomade to tame my wild eyebrows. I’m interested in trying out their milky jelly cleanser and balm dotcom products as well. I’ll absolutely be checking out the pop-up and trying out some new products! You can sign up to be notified of the temporary shop in Seattle here.
New Netflix Movie: I just noticed that Netflix put out a new original movie called “Wine Country” which follows a 50th birthday girls’ trip to Napa Valley, California (and features some heavy-hitter actresses). I’m hoping for “Bridesmaids” vibes, but the tone of the preview seems a bit more serious/dramatic, so we’ll see! I think I’ll give it a watch it next week while my husband is in a post-work meeting.
His and Hers: I know that I’ve mentioned MegaBabe products before (I swear by Thigh Rescue and Bust Dust!) and I’m super excited that the brand has put out MegaMan products! They’re the same formulas as the previously mentioned solutions, but are marketed for guys! I think this is so great because women aren’t the only ones suffering from chafe!
Tupperware Alternative: This is something that I’m really excited about because I just can’t get my head around using beeswax paper yet (maybe someday?). New startup TupperZip basically marries the functions of Ziploc bags and food storage containers, but in a reusable, eco-friendly way that’s even easy to clean. Goodbye, missing and mismatched Tupperware lids! Unfortunately, up until now TupperZip has only been raising brand awareness and funding so they are not selling any products at the moment, but you can sign up on their website to receive an email when they fully launch!
New M&M Flavor: Um, WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?!? I absolutely adore hazelnut spread and Mars, Inc. has released these limited edition M&M’s that feature this amazing flavor combo. I mean, it’s basically like having little snack-sized morsels of Nutella and I am HERE FOR IT. I can’t wait to get my hands on a bag (or two)!
What do you have planned for your weekend? I’d love to hear about it in the comments, even if it’s just laundry or yardwork! Have a great Friday, you guys!
