Gift Guide: for Your Pup

2021 Holiday Gift Guide for Your Pup: including items related to Travel, Relaxing, Play, and Treats!

Our pets are family too! This roundup shares a variety of gift ideas to love on your furry friend.

ON-THE-GO

collar / bandana

Instead of buying the standard woven collars from the pet store, why not get a little bit more deluxe with your selection? Your doggo deserves it. 😉 And if you’re into bandanas for your pup, they’ve got some hella cute ones.

harness / leash / bags holder

I love this matching set and in the “cocoa” color! You can buy them all individually, depending on your needs so there’s an opportunity to mix-and-match if you want, but I’m someone that loves when everything coordinates.

travel carrier

If you’re in need of a travel carrier for your furry friend, you’re in luck. This easy-to-clean and TSA-approved bag is perfect for carrying your pup onto a flight or even for a drive in the car (also available here!).

RELAX

shampoo

Some dogs may not enjoy getting bathed (so, not particularly relaxing for them… lol), but they’ll love the end result after being scrubbed with this deluxe pet shampoo! This brand makes some of my favorite haircare products and I had no idea that they also made a shampoo for pups!

washable throw blanket

Created with pups (and all pets!) in mind, these blankets will protect your soft surfaces (bed, couch, etc.) while still providing a stylish and comfy place for your furry friend to hang out. Also available here! Additionally, this brand makes faux rug dog beds! They blend in with your decor, but serve a greater purpose! You know that I love a beautiful and functional piece!

deluxe bed

These fancy pup beds are absolutely unreal. They look like human beds / furniture and have the most incredibly beautiful details. They’re not the ideal situation if you have a larger dog, but for medium to small pups they’re so cute and would be so much less of an eyesore than a traditional dog bed pad in the corner of the room.

crate

Speaking of avoiding an eyesore, these dog crates look like built-ins and can be used as side tables so they blend flawlessly with your home decor, especially if it’s got more of a traditional or farmhouse vibe.

PLAY

toy set

I love the aesthetic of these toys! They seem like they’d be fun to play with so that would accomplish my “stylish + functional” preference.

fancy tennis balls

Keeping it neutral and avoiding the traditional tennis neon yellow for those pups that enjoy playing fetch / gnawing on a ball.

clear playpen

This is such a genius setup (do they make these for babies / toddlers? 😜). I love that the playpen contains your pup in a safe space so that you can have peace of mind while your pup plays, and with the clear acrylic you can have eyes on them no matter where they are in the pen.

TREATS

advent calendar

Sooo cute! Include your pup in the countdown to Christmas with this dog treat advent calendar!

calming treats

Recommended by @thedailytay as the treats she used for her older pup who had some ailments.
As an alternative (if you’re not opposed to hemp / CBD) this brand is the #1 CBD dog treat brand in the U.S. and they offer solutions for whatever your pet’s needs are (for calm, relief, mobility, etc.).

subscription

I love this subscription for dogs because if your pup loves to destroy toys, this is the perfect way to keep replacements coming (as well as treats that maybe you weren’t aware of or wouldn’t normally buy for your doggo). So fun to have something new to introduce them to throughout the year!
