The smallest recap from our trip to Maui last mont

The smallest recap from our trip to Maui last month… this is just a handful of highlights, but there were so many! We tried the Mai Tai at every restaurant we went to to see if we could determine our favorite, Sophie celebrated her first Easter, we saw whales from our balcony, enjoyed a wonderful luau and sunset, Sophie had her first experience with sand, I ate my body weight in ahi tuna, Sophie enjoyed her first high end dining, we went to the Maui Ocean Center and saw so many amazing fish and underwater creatures, and made a point to go swimming every day. It was pure bliss and I can’t wait to go back!! 🌴🌺☀️

This little babe turns TEN MONTHS old today! We just got back from her first tropical vacation to Maui so I felt her swimsuit and plumeria headband were appropriate attire for this month’s milestone photo. Sophie traveled like a champ to Hawai’i, snoozed through the whole aquarium experience (we’ve all been there, amiright?), fell in love with pineapple, absolutely ADORED splashing in the resort pool and the best part was getting to spend time with our extended ohana! Sophie is pulling herself up onto her feet and standing up a bit, but not super confident yet; we’re expanding her exposure to solids, working on mastering sippy cups, and currently has two of her top teeth coming in (both on the left side? 🤔)! I can’t believe that it’s been ten months of fun with this little beauty!

It’s the time of year when our fluffy Kwanzan cherry blossoms are in full bloom and I feel like we’re living in a cotton candy wonderland for a few weeks 🌸 (until I have to sweep / rake all of the petals off the ground 🙃). Happy Tuesday, friends!

Nine months with you, Baby Girl! How are we alread

Nine months with you, Baby Girl! How are we already 3/4ths of the way into your first year?! You’ve been such a trooper with travel, which is amazing because Daddy and I don’t plan on slowing down any time soon and we hope that you will have a love for travel too! We’re so excited for the future and love seeing your little personality emerge! You’re loving solid foods (except for sweet potatoes?!?), sleeping in your own bed, crawling like a champ, just started pulling yourself up onto your knees yesterday, and figured out how to clap your hands two days ago! 👏🏼 It’s such an honor being your mom and we love watching you grow every day. We love you, Sophie Marie! 💕
